Luzhou Medical College (LZMC) was founded in 1951, recognized by the Chinese government, (WHO) World Health Organization, IMED and approved by PM&DC (Pakistan Medical & Dental Council). It is one of the "Top 5 Model Universities in Electronic Education" in Sichuan Province. Luzhou Medical College (LZMC) was authorized to admit long-term international students in 2004; LZMC began to admit long-term medical students (M.B.B.S).At present there are more then 350 international students from Pakistan, USA, Afghanistan, Canada, India, Nepal, Bangladesh, and Burundi ,Nigeria, Somalia, Ghana ,Namibia studying in LZMC.
